Superb day again, no-one holding us up. Singles but combined score going
towards team prize. Played with Pete against Trev and Alan. Good par on first, lost ball on second, then
very steady scoring for 18 out. Same on back nine, fluked a birdie on 16 with a
thinned second to the green, big drive up 17 leading to par, rescued 5 on last
for another 18, Good enough to win the overall singles. Also came back from 7
deficit on team game to win by 8.
Tedious at Calais with immediate notice of 30 min delay.
Then a security threat in the terminal, resulting in everyone evacuating the
building and heading for the departure queues, total chaos. Looked like we'd be
there a long time but called to board train at about 6, so an hour late. More
delay on motorway but not too bad. Home about 8.15
